The Cross Country Canada Women's Committee is offering up to 4 grants to subsidize participation by female coaches at the High Performance Coaching Seminar hosted by Cross Country Canada in Canmore, May 2019. Two grants of $700 will be offered to coaches needing to travel more than 600km from where they reside to attend the seminar and two grants of $300 will be offered to coaches traveling less than 600km to attend the seminar.

Application guidelines:

• In your application please provide a brief bio, including your current role in the cross country ski community, and a short explanation of how you intend to use the knowledge gained at the seminar to benefit your Club/Team our community (no more than 250 words please!).

• Include an outline of the need for financial assistance and if any other assistance from your Club/team is being provided.

• Please identify your Club location and how far you need to travel to attend the HP Coach Seminar.

• Your application should include a letter of endorsement from your Club or Team.

• Applications will be accepted until midnight on Sunday, April 1st, 2019

• Successful candidates will be notified no later than Sunday, April 8th,, 2019.

Successful recipients will also be asked to provide:
- a receipt of seminar registration
- a brief report to the Women's Committee on what you learned and how valuable the experience was
- acknowledgement of the support of the Women’s Committee/CCC in supporting them in the coaching pathway via their Club social media platforms.
